I started training with Calvin when I was 20-week pregnant. Wanting to stay active, maintain fitness and gain only a healthy weight through out my pregnancy, I kept exercising with Calvin 3 times a week til week 38, the week before I gave birth. Being a first time mum, I was slightly worried about working out because I was not sure which types of exercises would be safe to do and which to avoid. Calvin has had training in pre-natal exercise, most importantly, he constantly made sure every step in all the exercises was done safely, properly and effectively. And the best thing is he kept the routines fun - Calvin sometimes set 2 to 4 cycles of exercises in an hour, sometimes we would have no repeat of the same exercise throughout the whole session. Calvin also gave me plenty of helpful information on nutrition and how to eat healthily that does not only apply to pregnant women.

Throughout my pregnancy, I had a minimal amount of discomfort and my energy level was good - after exercising, my quality of sleep improved so I feel good and energetic most of the day. At my final weigh-in, I gained 13kgs which 3.2kgs came from my healthy and gorgeous baby girl.

Calvin made me feel safe, happy and confident working out. With his professional knowledge, constant care and encouragement, I feel that we are a team working on getting me fit and healthy!
